Lighthouse Tool Suite

Lighthouse is a complete hardware and software development environment facilitating the design of network processor based networking equipment. Lighthouse includes both hardware and software tools required to accelerate network system solutions. Lighthouse includes the following:

• Hardware Development Environment (HDE) - This comprises of the BayPort demonstration and evaluation platform, evaluation boards and reference designs to accelerate the hardware design in a target environment.
• Software Development Environment (SDE) - This comprises of the Simulator, Traffic Generator/Analyzer, IDE, Compiler, Debugger and NEXTware™ Software Suite to jump-start the software development process.

BayPort™

BayPort is a family of demonstration and evaluation platforms based on Bay’s network processors. These platforms are available in a 2-slot ATCA chassis on which a wide variety of networking applications can be demonstrated at line rate. BayPort utilizes a combination of network processors and host processor to provide a complete integrated data and control plane solution. Members of this family include:

• BayPort p10 – 10G Montego and Biscayne based platform
• BayPort p40 – 40G Chesapeake based platform
